Synclosure

Synclosure is a RSS aggregator to flexibly download files in enclosures. It supports filter keywords, custom actions and a caching mechanism.

Exciting news! Synclosure is being overtaken by Doeren Moor. Check out the new Synclosure project website!

Excellent program.
I have installed it on my mp3 player and run it from a command prompt on any machine.
Is there any way I can get it to
point the MP3 files to a specific folder
limit the downloads to only the latest mp3 file?

Good Afternoon
I would like to introduce myself and a new event that I run called the Blogs & Social Media Forum.
The Forum will be taking place in May in London and will examine the impact of wikis, blogs & RSS and will combine expert industry insight from leading thinkers in the field of social media technologies with real life case studies.

We have an excellent programme, including speakers from IBM, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Headshift, Six Apart and Sun Microsystems to name a few and the day will be chaired by Euan Semple, ex-Head of Knowledge Management, BBC.

We have a limited number of sponsor opportunities still available which offer maximum opportunities to network with delegates.

I think this could be a really interesting opportunity for Synclosure , for further information please click here to take you through to the website or go to the following link for specific information;

// Is there any way I can get it to point the MP3 files to a specific folder limit the downloads to only the latest mp3 file? //

You can define an action like: synclosure -a mp3 "movetomp3.bat"

And then you create a file named movebatch.bat wich has something like:
move %1 mp3/

This would move any mp3 file into the subfolder mp3. Or you could create two installations and then configure one to only download mp3, and the other one to download everything except mp3. Each can then be adapted in the download path. But you can't limit a number of per-feed
enclosures.
